Epping councillor Jon Whitehouse has thanked local residents for their support after winning re-election to Epping Forest District Council. He successfully defended his Epping Hemnall seat with a majority of 407 votes. The full result, announced at Debden Park School yesterday, was:
Would you like an electric vehicle but don't have anywhere to charge it? Janet Whitehouse, Liberal Democrat district councillor for Epping Hemnall, has asked Epping Forest district council to look into ways to provide on-street charge points and to bring forward a strategy to promote the use of electric vehicles in the district. An officer working group is investigating this and proposals will come to the Neighbourhood and Community Select Committee.
