Too close to call

14 Dec 2006

The Grange Hill by-election today is too close call. The election is between hardworking parish councillor Alan Lion and the conservative candidate. Labour and the BNP cannot win. A vote for these parties will only let the Conservatives win and take control of the council.

Alan Lion has a record of working for local people and getting things done for our area. Earlier this year he helped carry out a big survey of local views.

As a parish councillor he has taken up many issues for residents. Now we can elect him to be a strong voice for us on the district council as well.

Many people say they feel let down by the Conservatives, who have not delivered the promises they made at the last election. We can use this election to send them a powerful message.
