Poor Bus Services

17 Mar 2010

The H1 bus service from Loughton to Harlow no longer runs on weekdays and there are only four H1 buses each way on Saturdays. Residents who need to go to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow will have to use the 55 service on weekdays. Not that either service actually takes you right there, as buses go only as far as the bus station.

Liberal Democrat Councillor Jill Sutcliffe consistently raises the lack of decent bus services for Buckhurst Hill, in particular the need for more buses up and down Palmerston Road, which could usefully link the Underground station with Whipps Cross Hospital and also with Chingford and Walthamstow stations.
