The road sign in Harvey Gardens will soon be replaced after the Liberal Democrats contacted the Disrict Council

Following pressure from Loughton Liberal Democrats the District Council will be replacing two road signs that have been missing for many months.

Residents and road users of Pryles Lane and Harvey Gardens will have their signs replaced on Friday 1 December 2006. The broken road sign in Colebrook Lane will also be replaced, although an order has not yet been placed.

Loughton Liberal Democrat Campaigner Neil Woollcott on hearing the news said "A missing road sign may seem like an irrelevant thing, but it makes the local environment look uncared for."
