The Liberal Democrats are celebrating after seeing their vote increased by a massive 28% in the recent Chigwell Row parish by-election.

Gary Martin and the Liberal Democrat Team campaigned to listen and stand up for residents of Chigwell Row. Gary carried out a survey of local residents' views and campaigned against the Conservative's new policy of making potholes deeper for longer.

This results follows May local election results which saw the Liberal Democrats polling more votes than the Labour party in the Epping Forest constituency.

Gary Martin, Liberal Democrat candidate in Chigwell Row, said: "I would like to thank all the residents of Chigwell Row who voted for me. I enjoyed meeting many of my neighbours and talking to them about our wonderful village."

Lib Dem Parliamentary Campaigner Ann Haigh said: "Just like May, the Labour Party has given up on the residents of Epping Forest and it is the Liberal Democrats who are providing the effective opposition to the Conservatives."
