Local Loughton resident Neil Woollcott today wrote to Epping Forest District council to ask the council to investigate ways to improve recycling collection for residents living in blocks of flats.

Neil suggested that where blocks of flats have a shared bin area, a proportion of the large bins are designated for recyclable goods. This way it is easier for residents to store their recyclable materials and should encourage more residents to recycle.

Neil also suggested that a large wheelie bin is made available for storage of glass bottles.
