Lib Dem Pavement Parking Bill Debate

9 Sep 2014

Liberal Democrat MP for Cheltenham Martin Horwood's bill to allow local authorities to restrict parking on pavements will be debated in Parliament this Friday 12 September.

This is an important issue for families -- negotiating blocked pavements with a pushchair or small child can be challenging and dangerous -- and also for disabled people, particularly blind people and wheelchair users.

More information on this issue is available from the Guide Dogs charity, and we encourage you to ask Eleanor Laing to attend the debate -- you can write to her via the Living Streets campaign web site.
