Gavin Chambers is local choice

13 Aug 2009

LOCAL resident and campaigner Gavin Chambers has been chosen as the Buckhurst Hill Liberal Democrat candidate for the by-election on Thursday 27 August.

The by-election has been called following the sad death of Councillor Malcolm Woollard who worked hard to represent local residents for many years.

District and Parish Councillor Peter Spencer said "In Gavin we have a keen and dynamic man who will work hard to represent your views on the parish council. Living in the heart of the ward, Gavin knows and understands the needs of Buckhurst Hill."

Every votes counts on 27 August. In June Councillor Janice Curd won by 11 votes. A vote for any other party will help the Conservatives win.
