At last year's exhibition about the Old Foresters site, local councillor Roland Frankel assured residents that the proposed car park had nothing to do with London Underground.
"This site is Green Belt and therefore any application needs to prove special circumstances to have any chance of approval," said Roland Frankel. Now that a formal planning application has been submitted (EFP/2439/08) the local Lib Dem team will keep a keen watch on the situation."
