We are very sorry to report the death of our local party chair Chris Greaves. Chris was diagnosed with leukaemia and sadly his health deteriorated very rapidly.
Chris was the Liberal Democrat district council candidate for Buckhurst Hill East in 2014 and for Buckhurst Hill West in 2015. Before moving to Buckhurst Hill he was an active member of Woodford Liberal Democrats where he was vice-chair and a candidate in the Redbridge borough elections. Chris was an energetic and positive campaigner and he will be greatly missed by his Liberal Democrat colleagues, as well as by the wider community of which he was such an active part.
