80% of those replying to Ann Haigh's recent survey said that the Conservative run county council was wrong to put £18 million of their money into the county's bank account.

Last year the Conservative administration stashed £18 million to increase the council's reserves to £200 million. Yet many residents have told Ann that they are fed up with potholes and pavements not being fixed and youth facilities being cut.

The Conservatives are working hard to spin the large reserves, but the Liberal Democrats, with support from local residents, are calling on the county council to spend our money on vital services now or give us our money back.
