Councillor Ann Haigh, Epping Forest Parliamentary Campaigner, has contacted Essex county Council's Highways Department following the water leak at the junction of Church Lane and Rectory Lane in Loughton.

The water leak, which happened in the early hours of the morning, had cause severe ice to build up on the pavements and was a danger to pedestrians, many had to walk on the road.

Ann has been told by the Highways department that the team will visit the site this morning. Ann has also contacted Epping Forest District Council.
