Buses: success at last

12.00.00am UTC (GMT +0000) Tue 31st Jul 2007

The new 541 bus service now travels along Ivy Chimneys and Centre Drive to St Margaret's Hospital. Residents need no longer change buses in the High Street or take a taxi. Also, the H1 bus now travels from Epping Station to St Margaret's Hospital and on to Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Local Lib Dem councillor Janet Whitehouse has a record of campaigning for direct bus services from Epping to the hospitals. Thank you to the residents who signed petitions and wrote letters. For travel information phone the Essex Traffic Control Centre 0845 600 0110.
