BNP councillor resigns seat

12.00.00am UTC (GMT +0000) Tue 17th Jul 2007

A BNP councillor in Loughton Alderton ward has resigned from Epping Forest District Council.

This is not the first time that BNP councillors have failed to represent the residents of Loughton Alderton.

In 2005 a BNP councillor was suspended from Epping Forest council for 3 months after being reported to the standards committee.

The Liberal Democrats, on the other hand, have a record of standing up for local residents.

Liberal Democrat teams across the district keep residents informed by delivering regular FOCUS newsletters and campaigning against Tory cuts.
