Theydon Bois- Round Up!12.00.00am GMT Wed 15th Nov 2006
Here is a roundup of news from you local Theydon Bois District Councillors Kay Rush and Roland Frankel: COMMUTER PARKING Cllr Roland Frankel has raised with council officers the problems related to commuter parking in Theydon Bois. 'The station car park is quickly filled so commuters park in surrounding roads.,' he said. 'We need additional car parking at the station and I will urge LUL to address this.' BLUNTS FARM Liberal Democrat councillors have met with district planning officers to discuss the issues that will be raised at the forthcoming planning enquiry about the golf course at Blunts Farm. Cllr Roland Frankel has taken steps to improve communication between Epping Forest District Council and Theydon Bois Parish Council. ROAD MAINTENANCE Cllr Roland Frankel has a particular interest in the state of our roads and pavements and has been finding out about the county highways service and how it works. 'The county council claims that there is not enough money to repair any but the most dangerous defects. This is not satisfactory' said Roland. BLACK SACKS BACK LOCAL councillor Kay Rush came to the rescue of residents who were left without black sacks when the council failed to deliver replacement sacks. Following Kay's intervention the council supplied the missing rolls.
