Debden to get a New Library

12.00.00am GMT Sun 24th Sep 2006

Essex County Council has announced that Debden Library will be moving temporarily to 68 The Broadway whilst the current library will be rebuilt as part of the Epping Forest College redevelopment.

Loughton Liberal Democrat Neil Woollcott said "Epping Forest Liberal Democrats welcome any improvements that a new library building will offer. We will be monitoring the building works to ensure that the library is opened on time and at no extra cost to the taxpayer. Once opened we will campaign to make sure that the residents of Debden benefit from a wider range of library services."
