Loughton Lib Dems Taking Pride in Our Local Area

12.00.00am UTC (GMT +0000) Wed 23rd Aug 2006

Following confronting a visitor to our area after the man dropped his litter Loughton Liberal Democrats have contacted the local council to ask them to put litter bins at all bus stops on the Debden estate.

On a recent tour around Loughton Fairmead and Broadway wards the Liberal Democrats also noticed that many of the greens were badly littered with rubbish.

The Liberal Democrats have informed Loughton Town council the greens are in need of cleaning. They have also asked the council to install rubbish bins to help prevent the greens becoming dirty again.

Local Fairmead resident Neil Woollcott "The Liberal Democrats believe in taking pride in our area. Keeping our local green spaces clean promotes a sense of respect amongst residents and helps deter antisocial behaviour."
