Voting across Epping Forest has begun with the issuing of postal voters to many residents. The fight is between the Tories and the Liberal Democrats in Epping Forest. Only the Liberal Democrats and the Tories are contesting every council seat.

Neil Woollcott, Lib Dem candidate for Loughton Fairmead, who voted himself by post today said: "Across Epping Forest the Liberal Democrats are working hard to improve the life of the all it's residents. The Liberal Democrats work all year round keeping you informed through regular editions of FOCUS and consulting you on many issues. A vote for the Liberal Democrats is a positive vote for Epping Forest."
