A Positive Voice for Our Town

12.00.00am UTC (GMT +0000) Sat 15th Apr 2006

Local residents Peggy Ayre and Pat Brooks are, the best choice to be our new town councillors.

The election on Thursday 4th May has been caused by three more Conservative resignations.

Peggy Sure and Pat Brooks are determined to make a difference. Paradise Road resident Peggy Ayre said "I love this town. I've lived here all my life and I want it to be a successful town built on its community spirit."

Waltham Abbey district councillor Pat Brooks has been a strong voice for us. Now she can stand up for us on the Town Council as well.

"I am increasingly concerned about the state of our town, the litter, the health of the town centre, and crime and vandalism.," she said.

For too long the Conservatives have dominated the Town Council. Year after year they set the highest council tax in the district. No wonder so many people say it is time for a change.
