The single biggest issue facing our area is John's Prescott's plans for a massive increase in house building, according to experienced campaigner Alan Lion.

Epping Forest is right in the firing line. "The demand on new high density flats must be resisted at all costs," he said.

"John Prescott's plans would mean a massive change to the character of our area. The local infrastructure, including water supply, cannot cope with more and more flats. That's why I oppose the plans so strongly."
