Epping Forest Liberal Democrats Invite 'Liberal Conservatives' to Join Us12.00.00am UTC (GMT +0000) Mon 19th Dec 2005
In a website launched last week David Cameron asks "Wouldn't you like to build a modern, progressive, liberal, mainstream opposition to Labour?" If like us your answer to David Cameron's question is yes, then why not join a party that already is, the Liberal Democrats. David Cameron is an enthusiastic support of Tony Blair's student tuition fees. As part of the Government in Scotland the Liberal Democrats have abolished student fees and re-established student grants. David Cameron supported the Labour Government on the issue of ID cards. The Liberal Democrats opposed this and would invest the money in training 10,000 more police. When David Cameron worked for the Conservatives they had a woeful environment record. The Liberal Democrats would put the environment at the heart of Government. In Epping Forest the Liberal Democrats are leading the campaign to recycle more rubbish. David Cameron voted for the war in Iraq. The Liberal Democrats voted against the war. Just a few months ago David Cameron wrote the most right wing Conservative manifesto. The Liberal Democrats proposed an agenda based on Freedom, Fairness and Trust. And on the day after David Cameron was elected Conservative leader he agreed with Tony Blair on letting schools select pupils by ability. The Liberal Democrats would invest in all schools so every child would have a 'good' local school. The Liberal Democrats are the only true opposition to the Labour Party. So 'Liberal' Conservatives come and join the Epping Forest Liberal Democrats by clicking https://www.eflibdems.org.uk/join.php
