Carol Taylor and Jan McCulloch, the local Liberal Democrat candidates for Thursday's Buckhurst Hill Parish Council by-election.

With two days to go until polling day for two new Parish Councillors, the local Liberal Democrat candidates, Carol Taylor and Jan McCulloch, have published their priorities if elected on Thursday.

  • Protect the special character of Buckhurst Hill by preventing over-development and preserving the Green Belt.

*Keep the Roding Valley Centre in community use following its closure by Conservative county councillors.

*Improve local playgrounds and facilities for young people.

*Get our roads and pavements repaired by Essex County Council.
