Lib Dems would be scrap ID cards and invest the money funding 10,000 more Police Officers

The Liberal Democrats are campaigning against Labour's expensive and ineffective plans for mandatory ID cards.

We would scrap them and use the savings to put 10,000 more police on the streets, and equip them to combat crime more effectively.
