Here is a round up of news stories from your Buckhurst Hill Liberal Democrat Focus Team:

THE STAG LANE/ CHURCH ROAD SURVEY

The results of our survey showed, while a few residents in adjacent roads had some misgivings, the majority of residents in Stag Lane and Church Road voted in favour of a one-way scheme with a 20 mph speed limit.

We have recently discovered that the results were not sent onto the Essex County Council Highways Department by the officer at Epping and will not be included in the 2006-2011 County Road Plan.

We have now sent the results directly for future reference and will press for action if the traffic situation worsens.

PARKING REVIEW UPDATE

Local Lib Dem Councillors are pressing Essex County Council to reveal the timetable for implementing the Buckhurst Hill parking review, which is now running months behind schedule.

"WSe keep being told that the legal notice will be published 'soon'" said Peter Spencer, "but this level of uncertainty is worrying for residents and traders.
