RODING CENTRE

The Parish Council's quest to buy the Roding Centre is almost over. It has to ensure that all user groups leave the premises for a short break so that the purchase can be on a vacant possession basis. One group has failed to agree but negotiations are continuing.

RODING VALLEY PLAYGROUND

The Parish Council's plan to replace the Hornbeam Road playground by enhancing the Roding Valley one have run into trouble with the planning authority over the height of one piece of equipment. The committee is now rethinking the scheme and consulting residents.
