Farmer's Market in Epping High Street- Friday 21 October

7.58.00pm UTC (GMT +0000) Wed 19th Oct 2005

In response to demand from residents, including requests at the annual town meeting, Epping Town Council has scheduled two farmers markets in Epping High Street. The first one was held on Friday 16th September, with the next one scheduled for Friday 21st October. If the markets are successful they could become a regular feature.

Epping continues to have one of the area's best general markets in every Monday. "It's one of the things that really gives our town some character," said Epping Liberal Democrat town councillor Janet Hedges. "It's important that people make use of it if it is to continue to attract traders successfully."
