The Liberal Democrat run Buckhurst Hill Parish Council has been working on a number of local issues since being elected unopposed in May 2004. Here is an update on some of the current issues they are dealing with.

Local Liberal Democrat Parish Councillors are currently engaged in looking at new plans for a children's playground in the Recreation Ground off Roding Lane. Liberal Democrats It is important children should have a safe place where they can play.

Lib Dem Parish Councillors, led by Chairman of the Parish Council, Malcolm Woollard, have attended three meetings in Chelmsford trying to save the Roding Centre Community hall in Loughton Way by purchasing it from the County Council.

As reported earlier, in the past year the Parish Council, run by the Liberal Democrats, have also organised several voluntary litter-picks in areas not covered by contractors.
