HOW MANY MORE TIMES

Yet again the fence on the corner of Theydon road/ Great Gregories Lane has been destroyed. Janet Whitehouse has requested a speed assessment of the road, She has written to all Theydon Road residents asking their views on other measures that may be required.

"I have had an excellent response with lots of ideas," Janet said. She is meeting with the highways officer to discuss them.

HOLES AND HAZARDS

Janet Whitehouse reported pot holes in Popular Row and Orchard Drive which were quickly repaired. A manhole cover trip hazard in Forest Drive which has now been made safe.

Janet has also reported loose kerb stones in Woodland Way, Dukes Avenue and orchard Drive. If there is one outside your house please let her know.

Problems facing people using mobility vehicles to get around the village continue. "I was contacted by a resident about the new high kerb at The Green/ Theydon Park Road which has made the dropped kerb difficult to use," said Janet. "This has now been inspected and adjustments will be made- but no timescale has been given."
