Hardworking Epping and Theydon Bois county councillor Janet Whitehouse has been chosen again as the Liberal Democrat candidate for the county council elections on 5 May. "I won this seat four years ago from the conservatives and I have worked hard for all the residents," said Janet. "Many people have told me of their concern about the massive house building the government wants to impose on our area, the poor state of the pavements and roads and the lack of facilities for young people. I have made sure that residents' voices are heard on these issues." SHE SHOULD KNOW OUR AREA Janet Whitehouse has lived in Epping and Theydon Bois for 32 years. She is involved in many local and community organisations and is a district councillor. SHE SHOULD KEEP IN TOUCH Janet Whitehouse helps write the regular FOCUS leaflets in Epping, Thornwood and Theydon Bois which keep residents informed. She has carried out surveys of residents' views on local issues and taken action on the results. SHE SHOULD CAR FRO LOCAL PEOPLE Janet Whitehouse has helped many local people with their concerns, As a county councillor Janet has campaigned for better care and transport for older people, and funding for the Epping Forest Alzheimer's Group. She is a member of the Epping Forest prime Care Trust Consultative Forum. SHE SHOULD LISTEN TO YOU Janet Whitehouse listens to residents' views. As the county councillor for this area she has represented all local people and, if re-elected, will continue to do so.
