Labour Pledge Cards: The one they would like you to forget

The Labour Party has launched their 'Pledge Card' for the next general election. Behind the glitz of new promises are a series of broken promises from the last two elections.

Labour Party- Promised no tuition fees and then introduced them. Only the Liberal Democrats would abolish them and replace with student grants. Eleanor Laing and her Conservative colleagues want them replaced with credit card rates.

Labour Party- went to war in Iraq, despite no public or UN Support. Only the Liberal Democrats opposed the war. Eleanor Laing and the Conservatives supported the Labour Government.

The Conservative party introduced the council tax and the Labour party has let the bills soar. Only the Liberal Democrats would abolish the council tax and introduce a local income tax, linked to what people are earning.

Labour Party failed on crime. Like when the Conservatives were in power, Labour have recorded one million violent offences.

Voters are not is a difference between the Conservative Party and Labour, so they voting for the Liberal Democrats.
