Cllr Haigh new Chairman of Epping Forest District Council

annahigLiberal Democrat Councillor Ann Haigh became the new Chairman of Epping Forest District Council at the Annual Council meeting on 18 May 2006.

Ann Haigh has been a Buckhurst Hill West District Councillor for 10 years. From 2001 to 2005 she was also Essex County Councillor for Buckhurst Hill. She has worked tirelessly to protect the town against inappropriate development and has championed many local causes including Bedford House community centre, road traffic and parking problems.

Ann was previously Vice-chair of the council.
